Seeing_WaterDo you have a positive story of how you and your organization are bringing environmental education to students?  National Environmental Education Week would like to hear about it!  Simply upload your own photos and stories on the new EE Week Photo Blog.  Your story can be about activities either inside or outside the classroom, before, during, or after EE Week.

The EE Week Photo Blog Contest, which runs from April 1 - May 31, 2011, is open to all legal United States residents affiliated with an organization which provides K-12 educational programs, 18 years of age and older and who have a valid e-mail account.

Each blog entry must include a photograph and releases from the Recycle_Bicyclesubjects and text (of no more than 1,500 characters) that describe how environmental education is being celebrated in the classroom.  Entries will be judged equally based on photographic and literary quality, visual appeal, the level of success and creativity that was achieved in bringing environmental education to the students, and the inspirational value.

NEEF is committed to protecting the privacy of children.  For that reason, we request that blog submissions do not contain the name(s) or other identifying information of any minors.  NEEF reserves the right to disqualify any submission that violates the Contest Rules, Privacy Policy, or Terms of Use.

NEEF will review all submissions, post all eligible submissions to the blog, and award the top three entrant organizations with the following: First Place: $275 worth of educational media from the Video Project, a Canon GeocachePowerShot A490 digital camera at a retail value of $99.99 and a Get Outdoors!
