The National Environmental Education Foundation is pleased to announce the winners of its 2009 National EE Week Photo Blog Contest:
- First place: Recycle Bicycle, submitted by Girl Scout Brownie Troop 2022 from Indio, California
- Second place: Connection, submitted by P/NW BOCES Center for Environmental Education from Yorktown Heights, New York
- Third place: Building a Pathway to Discovery, submitted by Fairview Elementary School Garden from Demorest, Georgia
The top three entrant organizations were awarded the following:
- First Place: Gift certificate worth $150 redeemable at Acorn Naturalists
- Second Place: Gift certificate worth $100 redeemable at Acorn Naturalists
- Third Place: Gift certificate worth $50 redeemable at Acorn Naturalists
